HSBC London Sevens postponed
The RFU confirm World Rugby have postponed the HSBC London Sevens as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Originally scheduled to take place at Twickenham Stadium on 23/24 May 2020, the event has been postponed, provisionally until September.
Additionally, the women's Sevens Series tournament in Langford [2-3 May] has been postponed until later in the year while the combined Sevens Series in Paris [30-31 May] has also been postponed until September.
These latest decisions have been taken in consultation with the respective unions and follows previously confirmed postponements of the Hong Kong and Singapore rounds of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series and women's HSBC World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series event in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
This decision has been taken in line with the relevant government and public health authority advice.
London Sevens ticket information
All tickets purchased for either day of the HSBC London Sevens will remain valid for any rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available to the original ticket purchasers only, once the rearranged dates are confirmed, if ticket holders are unable to attend those dates.
