If you are planning to get to Twickenham by car please note that a controlled parking zone operates over an area of approximately one mile around the stadium. Fines and towing are enforced in this area, including Sundays. To pre-book parking at Twickenham please visit www.englandrugby.com to book online.
RFU Shuttle
On all event days with an attendance of more than 35,000, there is
an RFU shuttle bus service between Richmond Station and the Stadium
and Hounslow East and the stadium.
The shuttle buses are free and run 3hrs before kick off and 3hrs after kick off, the buses return to Richmond and Hounslow after the match.
Pre match the services run from the A316 Pools in the Park in Richmond and Hounslow East station, Kingsley Road in Hounslow.
Post match the Richmond service departs from Rugby Road adjacent to the stadium and the Hounslow service departs from Whitton Dene to the north of the stadium.
RMT industrial action
Fans attending the England Quilter International rugby match
against Australia are advised to plan travel in advance and allow
extra time for journeys as services will be busier than usual due
to RMT union industrial action. We are working with South Western
Railway who will do everything they can to minimise the effect of
these strikes.
There will be 12 South Western Railway trains per hour between
Waterloo and Twickenham. There will be one train every hour to/from
Windsor and two trains every hour to/from Reading via Ascot.
South Western Railway is advising customers travelling to
Twickenham from Reading or West of Reading to travel to Paddington
(ticket acceptance is in place with Great Western Railway) and then
use London Underground services to Waterloo.
With both the RMT union industrial action and enhanced security measures in place at Twickenham Stadium, we strongly recommend that you allow extra time to make your journey to the stadium ahead of the 3pm kick-off - as you may be subject to extended queuing times at both the station and stadium.
