Fans to return to Twickenham Stadium for Quilter International

The Rugby Football Union can confirm that 2,000 fans will be able to return to Twickenham Stadium on Sunday 6 December.

Following the Government's announcement that fans will be allowed to stadiums after England's national lockdown ends on 2 December, London has been placed in tier two of the local lockdown restrictions.

This means that Twickenham Stadium, subject to social contact rules, can host up to 2,000 people for the final Quilter International on Sunday 6 December which is the finals weekend for the Autumn Nations Cup.

"We are delighted to be able to welcome 2,000 fans to Twickenham Stadium for the final Quilter International as part of the Autumn Nations Cup on Sunday 6 December," said RFU CEO Bill Sweeney.

"This is an opportunity for us to operate a socially distanced event as a small step forward in our plans for the return of fans to the stadium. The team will be thrilled to have fans supporting them in person along with the thousands that will be watching on Amazon Prime.

"20% of the seats for the game will be gifted to local NHS workers, the remaining will be for the players families, local rugby clubs, sponsors and around 1,000 seats will be on sale with prices starting from £75."

Limited hospitality packages can be booked here.
